As of October 4, 2020, we will be resuming indoor services at Zion. It is wonderful to begin worship back in the sanctuary! To ensure our congregation, visitors, and friends stay safe and healthy, there are some important measures we must all follow and some changes to the service. Your prayers, grace, and understanding are needed during this time. None of us have lived through a pandemic before and decisions are being made with a goal of keeping everyone safe.
-Important things to know about coming to worship.
-Wear a mask at all times. If you cannot wear a face covering, please take advantage of the sermon posted on Facebook each week.
-Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the church. Use it often!
-Maintain Social Distancing at all times.
-Tuck offering envelop flap, do not lick.
If you are sick, please stay home.
Things that are different:
-Bulletin information is projected on the wall. Announcements are printed and placed on the table in the Narthex.
-Ushers are inside the Sanctuary to greet and answer questions. No greeters by the doors.
-Offering plates are located near the Sanctuary entrance and will not be passed during service.
-Passing the peace is between the Pastor and congregation. No leaving the pew. ----Refrain from handshakes, hugging, and other touching.
-Pastor will enter and exit from the front.
-Aisles are one-way. Seating is front to back and exiting is back to front. Pews are marked to indicate seating that maintains social distancing.
-A shorter service will be used and there will be no congregational singing.
